Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
Infrared light is used to reflect light off your retina, allowing the Doctor to map out and measure the thickness of your retina. Doctors are also able to see a more detailed image of your blood vessels leading to your optic nerve, which sends signals to your brain. The testing is painless and non-invasive.
